How do I connect my display to the iDotMatrix App?
Open the app, turn on your LED display, enable Bluetooth on your phone, then tap the device in the app to pair. Keep the display close during the first connection.
The app won't connect to my display. What can I do?
Make sure Bluetooth and location permissions are enabled, the display is powered on and not already paired to another phone, then fully close and reopen the app. Restarting the display also helps.
Is the iDotMatrix App free?
Yes. The app is free to download on both iOS and Android, with no account or subscription required.
Which display sizes are supported?
The app works with common programmable LED pixel displays. The community has documented support for 16×16, 32×32 and 64×64 panels.
Can I use iDotMatrix on a PC or Windows?
There is no official desktop app. You can run the Android app in an emulator, or use community open-source tools to control compatible displays from a computer.
